jobs bartending - Learn About Bartending

Bartending can get hectic when people are crushed up against the bar trying to place their orders and the wait stations are filled with waiters and waitresses trying to place their orders. The legal drinking age in the United States is twenty one.

The bar should be placed in an area that is easy to reach and provides plenty of space behind it. But still bar business goes up as the state of the economy goes down. The bartender must be acquainted with their area well and must know how to act upon their mixing duties once the business is on the rise.

In a restaurant, food is the main focus, so a bartender maybe less relevant, but in a bar where drinking is the focus, then a bartender will have more of an impact. You gotta move quickly if you want to be a great bartender. A recession often means that companies aren't hiring as much so take a bartending job to hold you over until the storm passes.

Try to remember even the smallest details. Let's face it, to be good it takes more than just serving a good drink.
